UGANDA’S PEAK PRIMARY SCHOOL UNDER GREAT THINKERS CHESS ACADEMY HAS BEEN HONOURED WITH A PRESTIGIOUS FIDE SCHOOL AWARD

In a momentous achievement for Uganda, Peak Primary School under Great Thinkers Chess Academy has been awarded the prestigious FIDE School Award by the International Chess Federation (FIDE). This accolade is a testament to Great Thinkers Chess Academy’s dedication to integrating chess as a valuable educational tool within the school environment, earning global recognition for Great Thinkers Chess Academy’s commitment to excellence in education.

Along with the honorary title, the award comes with several substantial benefits for Peak Primary School :

  • ChessKid Memberships: The school has been granted up to 500 Gold memberships on ChessKid.com for months. This will provide students and teachers with premium access to a wide range of chess resources and learning tools.
  • Discount on Teacher Preparation Course: Teachers from the school can avail of a 20% discount on the online Preparation of Teachers (PoT) Course, educators can enhance their teaching methods and better integrate chess into their curricula.

It is an excellent opportunity for interaction and sharing of best practices within the Chess in Education (CIE) community.
