CELEBRATING CHESS STARS AMONG MAKERE UNIVERSITY GRADUATES – Class of 2025
The Uganda Chess Federation (UCF) proudly celebrates the achievements of several members of the chess community who graduated from Makerere University during its 75th Graduation Ceremony. Held from January 13–17, 2025, at Freedom Square in Kampala, this momentous event saw 13,658 students earn degrees across various disciplines. the distinguished graduates were some of Uganda’s prominent chess players, whose dedication to their studies mirrored their passion and discipline on the chessboard.
