NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) SLATED FOR 20/08/2022
All Members, Uganda Chess Federation (UCF)
Reference is made to the second call for AGM as per letter Ref: UCF/AGM/23/07/22 dated 27th
June 2022. The reconvened AGM could not take place today 23rd July 2022 due to lack of
quorum.
According to Article 7.5 of the UCF Constitution 2006 as amended, the AGM will now be
postponed for the last time. Therefore, notice is hereby given that the AGM of the Uganda
Chess Federation is hereby postponed for the last time and scheduled to take place at the Gloria
Gardens in Namugongo, Wakiso District on the 20th day of August 2022 at 10:00am for the
following purposes.
The Annual General Meeting shall meet to transact the following business;
- To confirm minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
- To receive the President’s written annual report
- To receive the Treasurer’s written annual report
- To debate and decide on any resolution(s) which may have been duly submitted.
Please note that if on the 20th August 2022, a quorum is still not present, those members present,
shall proceed to hold an Annual General Assembly.
All UCF member clubs are reminded to pay annual membership subscription fees to the Uganda
Chess Federation Account.
In the event of changes in regards to date or time or venue or any other particulars, UCF
Executive will inform the UCF members and chess fraternity in advance.
